Pozapomenutý František Xaver Lederer

Although the Prague sculptor František Xaver Lederer was one of the key figures of Czech 19th century art, his work has thus far only been treated peripherally in more general studies. This article offers a more comprehensive perspective on Lederer's work. It supplements the available biographical information and suggests several new attributions and iconographic interpretations. In this connection, it focuses primarily on the famous Wimmer fountain.
