In the Prague Church of the Holy Trinity in Spálená Street in the New Town there is a unique iconographic type representing Christ as captive. Its roots go back to the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. The article explains this motif against the backdrop of the history and impact of the Trinitarian Order.
