Oralizace a olfaktorizace oka. K psychologii čichového vnímání v díle Jindřicha Štyrského

The study focuses on the unique position of olfactory experiences in Štyrský's work, related to the peculiar psyche of his personality. The presence of these themes in the author's paintings and texts must be understood above all as a devaluation of the eye as an organ of rational cognition, which can be seen, for example, in a collage to Nezval's Sexual Nocturno. The study monitors the relationship between olfactory experiences and the Biedermeier culture and Bakhtin's concept of the "grotesque body".
