The study highlights a new source which probably influenced the genesis of the St Luitgard sculptural group by Mathias Bernard Braun, that is, graphic prints depicting the Vision of St Luitgard according to a draft by Michael Willmann. The author of the study argues that this Silesian prototype was known among Czech Cistercians, and hence it could have influenced Eugen Tyttl, the abbot of Plasy, who ordered the sculptural group.
