Vincenc Kramář, Návrh Smetanova pomníku

Kramář basically wrote this study, stored in the archive of the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, in 1926. It entails a detailed analysis of one of the last works of Otto Gutfreund, the proposal for Smetana's tombstone. Kramář first consulted with Gutfreund about his conclusions, and thus the article also reflects the artist's own point of view. Kramář highly values the proposal, on which Gutfreund worked with Pavel Janák and František Kysela, especially for its sculptural qualities.
