The article treats two illuminated manuscripts from the second half of the 16th century, which are the property of the National Library in Prague. While it corrects the presumed provenance of the Křižovnický Gradual, it identifies the Staroměstský (Old Town) Gradual with a specific Old Town literary fraternity.
